Usually this happens rather spontaneously and at odd times. So, the other day, standing on my front step, watching birds flit about over the L.A. river, eating a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwhich. Just kind of filled up with graditude for being here and able to experience.

In the past it has been mostly to hold it in. I'm a very reserved person. That seems to be shaking loose a bit as of late. I'm big on support when dealing with such things, whether it is something I can give someone else or something I recieve from someone close to me.

If I was going to ask someone to help me deal I would ask them to help me draw this stuff out, make sure I actually went through some kind of process.

I am also a keen practioner of gallows humor. So if I am going through the shit expect me to make jokes about it. I'll be more careful if you're the one dealing with it.

I was tagged with this quite awhile ago... and was all glib about it not long after that... and now have finally gotten around to posting. A sad state of affairs.

Here are the rules ,

1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag some random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

TIP - Please don't tag people who've already been tagged. Play mindfully. (I have cheated the rules just a bit. Cuz, well, hmmm....)

FenixRizing tagged me...

So here they are. Six things about me.

One – When I am excited (just really, really happy) I swear a lot. A lot. I drop the F-bomb like nobody’s business. In fact, I really like the F-word. I like its texture.

Two – I am unbearably proud of being from the Western U.S. I will argue quite emphatically about how much better the West is than any other part of the country. I will not give up until I have pissed someone off.

Three -- I really like brand new gas stations and mini-malls. Not shopping districts, gas stations and mini-malls. Sometimes a Target works well. These places soothe some part of my mind. Even better if they are some sort of super gimmicky false environment. I dislike Disneyland, but I love a good Arabian Nights themed gas station. I assume this comes from living in Las Vegas at a formative enough time.

Four – When I was in high school in Las Vegas I fell in for awhile with a few guys who were very into various alien conspiracy theories. Not into them as in interested in them, but into them as in believed them. We went to a house we had heard belonged to someone who had documents about an immanent invasion (which amounted to standing across the street and saying lots of “holy shit,” type things). There was a local reporter who did lots of specialized reports. He also led tours out to look for mysterious lights in the sky above Area 51. One of my friends claimed his cousin had talked to this man and been told the date the invasion was set to begin. My senior year history professor showed us (the whole class) the Zapruder film and told us that the reason Kennedy was killed was because he was going to reveal the truth about Roswell and the alien presence. This teacher also claimed to have seen a UFO over Las Vegas in the middle of the night. He may have planted the seed. Or perhaps his class was how we formed as a group. I can’t say I ever really believed, but...

Five – I like cute stuff more than any self-respecting man should.

Six – I cook this dish that consists of brown rice pasta, spicy Italian chicken sausage, orange bell peppers, asparagus, mushroom and squash (the mushroom, squash & aspragus do not make it in every time, but some mix of them does). It also uses salt, olive oil and garlic. It is tasty as, um, well, you know...

I am spreading the joy of this post to... Peace Eagle, Ohmsmom & Amanda because they are GF fellow travellers.
