Four Months

Well this did not happen.  I haven't been posting here.   Honestly, I hit a streak where I just didn't feel like talking about any of the things I usually talk about here.

But the other project I have been working on, promised in that moment of misfounded optimism over future blogging, is going to happen.  It'll involve a depressed cartoon bear, a ridiculous city and maybe even a few jokes about spiritual enlightenment.

Mr. Huggins & Snugglypoo

Well.  Here it is.

Mr. Huggins & Snugglypoo.

Just what the online masses have been clamoring for -- a webcomic that follows the lives of a disillusioned bear and his codependent pink hippo friend as they struggle to recover from their addiction to g'oo, a seemingly innocent, tarry, black beverage unleashed on the critters of Villeville by the ominous Megacorp.

There will also be many references to fun topics like corporate, political and theological hegemony.  Also, perhaps, some stuff about joy, friendship and wonder.  But it'll probably be under the surface.

We've put a lot of work into this and any kind of word spreading would be much appreciated.  The first six strips are already up and new strips will follow regularly.  Happy reading.

More Mr. Huggins & Snugglypoo

Mr. Huggins & Snugglypoo continues to move along.  We're well into our first extended story arc (it's some of Mr. Huggins' back story).  We've also got a link to some merchandise in case, like me,  you're the kind of person who can never have enough novelty tee-shirts and coffee mugs.

Guess that's about it.  I'm supposed to be getting to posting something in repsonse to having been tagged.  But I figured I owe it to FenixRizing to live up to my reputation of taking forever.  So, not too much longer...
