Leg Pain
I've got a minor problem with meditation.
I can't sit for very long (15-20 minutes) without my legs hurting and (at least) one of my feet falling asleep. Switching my legs halfway through a session means I can push into a session somewhere between 30 and 40 minutes at my very best.
But I'm also trying to get to where I can sit in the half-lotus position for an entire holosync sitting (one hour) and am frustrated by how painful it is. I think the main problem is in the tightness of the left side of my body (particularly my leg).
And I'm pretty sure the strength training routine I have is tightening those muscles up. I've been trying to increase my sporadic yoga practice and focus on stretches that might help those particular areas, but... well, it hasn't helped all that much yet.
Essentially a long meditation session turns into a meditation on leg pain. Maybe that is not such a bad thing and I should just tough it out.
But...

Have you tried savasana (corpse pose)?
I've never learned any meditations that use corpse pose, so this had never occurred to me. Thanks for the suggestion.
