Holosync, hell yeah.

Posted on May 16th, 2006 by Umguy : Still Seeking Umguy
Yesterday was the first day on the second level of holosync.  I tried not to expect too much.  And, really, I should give it a while before I get into any kind of evaluation thing.

There is a high pitched chirp/warble that I think is supposed to be crickets (maybe birds).  I don’t like it.  I assume I’ll get used to it.

But my question was quickly answered.  This is indeed new level.  For the first two weeks you only do half an hour per session.  That half an hour felt like five minutes.  And I was positively floating for fifteen minutes aftewords.  Doing the dishes (literally) was pure joy.

Wow, pure joy while doing the dishes.

This really must be something special.

It really is pretty cool.  Then again the second day all I got was agitated.  Which I guess is to be equally as expected.

Umguy, I don't think that high pitched warble is supposed to be birds. I think it is your affirmations playing under the holosync music. I remember reading about that in one of Centerpointe's publications. My cd says “Awakening level 1” and I'm on immersion 0.3. That's the last of the set I bought a while ago.

By using Holosync you are helping your left and right hemisphere brainwaves to syncronize and become more symmetrical. (when you're in a state of anger, your brainwaves become extremely unbalanced) You are also producing more endorphins and reducing cortisol production. Each new level cd feels like a jump into more bliss because your brain is re-training itself to react to the binaural beat signals.

Be kind of ironic if I found the sound of my affirmations irritating.  But then again also kind of amusing.

Well, the whole holosync thing is pretty dang cool.
