Resistence

Lately I have become a tad obsessed with the idea of my own resistence. I could point to example after example of how I resist. Like here, here, here, here and here.
And that is only what I could remember off the top of my head.
This obsession probably has something to do with shelling out for the next two levels of holosync. There is much talk of resistence and how to end it and why it helps so much to do so in that circle.
But I see it clearly for once. No. I don't so much see as sense it. I feel it when I start a 3 body work out, when I sit down to meditate, when I think about articulating my goals. And it is a more direct knowing then ever before. And I sense, ever so faintly, what lies beyond it.
Because the stillness opens up for a moment and then the resistence scurries in.

Help

I just listened to an intro-audiobook by Richard A. Monroe, who I think created the whole holosync stuff? How you liking that? It sounded like an interesting method, and pretty basic… how do the different “levels” work? Sounds like it'd be feasible to make your own, but I may be missing the point.
Interesting that you brought it up! I only just heard of it from a random audiobook download online.
Whoa! My sister in Virginia JUST told me about her getting the information package for Holosync … she asked me to take a look at the site; that it might be something I'd like… trip that I am seeing it again in your post …. synchronicities? … maybe.
Rob: Bill Harris is the holosync guy (though I forget who he got the orginal idea from). There's also other a fair amount of simliar stuff out there. The different levels have to do with which frequencies are used to generate the brain waves. I guess the lower the tone the more it does. I'm sure I'm butchering the explanation.
MsCapriKell: The site put me off at first because of what someone called the used car salesman aspect of it. But I'd recommend holosync to anyone interested. I think it actually does deliver on it's more reasonable promises. If you do it I'd love to hear about your experiences with it.
well, when I can afford to … I will look more deeply into it. My gut feeling is that it is a good program…. just …. not everyone makes enough to have a discretionary spending budget for that much…. what with the levels and then the retreats (not that you have to attend the retreats… but if you work hard, you feel you deserve the retreat.)… it starts adding up….
nice. did my own share of holosync. but then i decided to stop. it gave me migraines but i think that there's something to it. heck i even started a blog about holosync. i almost forgot about that. if you want, you can continue with it or link to it since you're now the uber-user. here's the URL: http://holosynchronicity.blogspot.com/
keep us posted.
MsCapriKell: Yeah. It ain't cheap. I bought the next two levels when I was momentarily flush with cash and before I could wise up and save it for something reasonable. You can usually find the first level on ebay for about half the cost.
~C: I came across that blog a couple of times in searching for various things. I'll see what I can do with it. Two blogs is taxing me enough. Wimp that I am.

Bill Harris built upon the idea based on the book Mega Brain and Ilya Prigogine's theory. i think it's a cool combination. btw, the author of the Mega Brain book, Michael Hutchison is not impressed with Bill Harris.
speaking of Michael Hutchison, he's also a cool guy in my book. that's why i dedicated to him another side project of mine which is stalling right now. LOL.
I think that's how I wound up at your site. Reading about the Bill Harris/Michael Hutchison dust-up. Thanks for the info.
