Mini Retreat Thing

Inspired by an idea I read at Ryan's blog, I've been trying to figure out how I could set up a one day retreat once a month, just at my own place.
I was enjoying hammering out the details: just how much time could I realistically plan on being completely undistrubed, should I start out the day with a nice 123 of God, and if I wanted to include walking meditation would I be able to clear a path through my cluttered apartment?
Then I got to thinking how it would be kind of cool to get a few people together for that kind of thing. And well.... this is Zaadz... So I'll go shove it in my ideas space.
But if anyone with better people skills finds this idea interesting...

Perhaps rather than neglecting your retreats due to inability to unclutter your apartment you could consider taking your walking meditation outside.
Or, you could be like the old folks and go walk through a mall, meditating on all the people and stuff there. Hell, you could even walk though blocking out all the stimulus if you’re a really good mediator, couldn’t you?
Practice, practice, practice, my friend!
Yeah, a walk around the block is probably the best option. I was just wondering if I could make it as fluid as possible.
Is there a pool near you?
You could go for a walk in the pool.
Besides being wonderfully relaxing, it’s actually great exercise to walk in a pool.
Or you could swim.
Actually, if you want to stay in your apartment you could probably meditate in the tub, but that’d be a pretty short walk. I guess you’d have to pace back and forth in a little water for it to remain fluid, huh?
Pacing in the bathtub sounds kind of cool. I might give it at try. Though I'm not sure I'll own up to it if I do.

It’ll be our little secret. ; >
